CALGARY, Alberta - (BUSINESS WIRE) - June 25, 2001 - Remote Utilities Network, Inc. (OTCBB: RMUN) The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Remote has signed a formal 3 (three) year contract (with an additional 3 year extension) with TELUS Communications Inc. (Canada's second largest telecommunications company). As per the terms of the contract, TELUS will be responsible 24 hours/day 365 days/year for the surveillance, monitoring, and dispatch of security resources in regards to the Autoeye Multi-vehicle Surveillance System that Remote intends to have in place initially with various auto dealerships throughout the United States and Canada. Included in this contract, TELUS can also be called upon to perform System Turn-Up and Commissioning, System Maintenance and Software Development on an as requested/ national basis where TELUS resources are available. Negotiations are ongoing regarding Remote utilizing TELUS sales personnel on a national basis for the purpose of selling (on a commission basis) the "Autoeye" system.
